CWB Group has acquired a majority stake in Midlands-based financial advisory business Professional Practice Services (PPS).
CWB, a specialist provider of financial advice, employee benefits and business consultancy, did not disclose a price.
PPS specialises in providing corporate and personal financial planning advice to the UK veterinary sector.
The combined group will continue to operate under the existing CWB and PPS brands.
CWB Group owner Graham Clarkson (pictured above) said: “I’ve known Dr Paul Jackson, owner and Partner of PPS, for over 10 years and have been impressed with how he has developed his business. PPS has become the market leader in providing financial solutions to the veterinary industry. Our joint ambition is to consolidate this success and to enable PPS to offer a greater range of services to its clients.”
Dr Jackson (left) said: “Considering how Graham and his team have evolved the CWB Group in recent years, I’m delighted that PPS is becoming a part of this growing success story. The combined size of the group means we can offer our clients more services and solutions, and obtain even better terms from product providers.
CWB Group Managing Director Simon Hellier added: “Having worked with Dr Paul Jackson for many years on the growth of PPS it is evident that there is a lot of similarity to how Graham has built CWB. Like Graham, Paul’s passion is working with his clients and he wanted a strong management team to help his develop his business. Paul will have much more time to spend with his clients.”
