• Ecology Building Society becomes the latest lender to join LMS Panel Link.

• Ecology will be utilising Secure Link and Charge Registration, benefitting from streamlined communication and reduced turnaround times.

Today, LMS, the UK’s leading provider of conveyancing services, announces their partnership with Ecology Building Society, the latest lender to join LMS Panel Link.

Ecology Building Society is an ethical lender dedicated to supporting innovative community housing projects and providing mortgages to create environmentally friendly homes, including bringing derelict buildings back into sustainable use.

Established in 1981, its principles to build a greener society and challenge the norms in finance continue to shape the decisions it makes to this day. This makes the new partnership even more noteworthy for LMS – Ecology’s mission aligns with LMS’s approach to the industry, aiming to create a conveyancing journey that is not only easy but sustainable, too.

LMS Panel Link is a robust service that connects lenders with conveyancing firms. The panel consists of fully vetted firms whom lenders can trust. Equally, law firms have access to multiple lenders all within a single platform. Therefore, Ecology Building Society will benefit from advanced connectivity and streamlined communication, confident that conveyancers are fully vetted by LMS.

LMS Secure Link, which Ecology Building Society will also be utilising, has a knowledge base of lender-approved FAQs, reducing post-offer conveyancing queries made by traditional, less secure methods by up to 70%. Only if a query isn’t effectively answered by the knowledge base will it then be escalated to the lender via a secure conversation thread.

Additionally, Ecology Building Society will benefit from LMS’s Charge Registration service. Using innovative technology, LMS provides real-time updates on the position of applications at HMLR, tracking all cases through to registration. Therefore, Ecology can be confident that information is up to date and secure, but also feel the effects of more streamlined communication.

The partnership with Ecology Building Society underscores LMS’s continued commitment to collaborating with lenders who make a positive difference in the conveyancing sector.

Suzanne O’Connor, Chief Relationship Officer at LMS, comments: “LMS is all about looking at the future of conveyancing; how, by using forward-thinking technology and partnering with like-minded stakeholders, we can make it easier, more secure, and sustainable. Ecology Building Society utilising our Panel Link service showcases our commitment to this. Sinceanother empowering partnership has come to fruition, we can celebrate the impact we’re having in the mortgaging market, now and in the future.”

Denise Davies, Chief Operating Officer at Ecology Building Society, comments: “At Ecology Building Society, our lending is impact-led and we’re always seeking to improve the service we offer to our borrowers and professional partners, guided by our ethical principles. Partnering with LMS supports us in our mission to increase the impact we can deliver by meeting the needs of more borrowers.”
