The Financial advisory group Foster Denovo has been recognised for its excellence in developing its employees by achieving the Investors in People (IIP) platinum accreditation, its highest level.

Only two per cent of the 55,000 businesses across the globe which applied have reached this standard.

IIP’s assessment panel noted that the company’s approach in developing people ran clearly right through the business.

Foster Denovo Head of People Louise Blair said: “We’re thrilled to have been recognised as platinum accredited, which puts us in the top two per cent of companies assessed by IIP worldwide.

“We hold great store by our culture, and believe passionately in treating staff brilliantly so our clients are served superbly. This award really speaks volumes about our commitment.”

Foster Denovo went up a step in each of the nine successive years in which it had been assessed before reaching the top rung.

The announcement comes as the group continues to move forward, doubling the size of its employee benefits consulting division after acquiring Punter Southall’s corporate advisory arm at the start of the year, as well as adding two further financial advisory firms to its UK-wide network, Wade Financial in Newcastle and Creative Financial Solutions in Hampshire.
