Sarasin & Partners, the global thematic investment manager which invests £19.2 billion on behalf of charities, private clients, intermediaries and institutions, has appointed Christopher Cade as Partner. The appointment reaffirms Sarasin & Partners’ commitment to growing its footprint in the intermediary market.

Cade joined Sarasin & Partners as a Sales Director in 2015 from Skandia UK where he was an Investment Specialist. Prior to this, Cade worked at Baring Asset Management as Head of Third-Party Sales and National Provident Institution as a sales manager. Cade holds the Investment Management Certificate, Certificate of ESG Investing and a Diploma in Financial Planning.

His appointment follows the addition of six Partners last November, notably Graeme Bruce, James Fishbourne, Tania McLuckie, Stephen Rothwell, Alexander True and Nick Wood.

Guy Matthews, Managing Partner at Sarasin & Partners, commented: “Since joining in 2015, Christopher has become an integral member of our business, bringing invaluable industry experience and outstanding ability to the Partnership. His appointment as a Partner reflects our commitment to the intermediary market.

“Our Partners represent the future for the Partnership, adding to the continuity in management, investment expertise and client service which has been the hallmark of our business for many years.”
