The Adviser Centre has won the Best Fund Ratings Research Service Award which was presented at the recent Investment Week Fund Summit conference.
The Adviser Centre was a finalist last year and in winning this year’s top award, came ahead of many leading firms.
This is the only award which recognises a rating and research service. It is, says The Adviser Centre, the validation of the quality of the research and support delivered by the ex OBSR team of Peter Toogood, Gill Hutchison, Anthony Macdonald and Marianne Wheller.
The company said: “The quality of the research and support available covers the reasons why a fund is recommended, what to expect and how to use it. It also includes forward guidance when fund recommendations change, e.g. when a manager leaves, and portfolio and client recommendations, such as favouring risk diverse solutions today due to heighten volatility and valuations.
