Financials advisers and their children should head down to BAFTA on Saturday 18 February.

Whilst the adults can learn more about investing in original games production, via the official launch of the hybrid SEIS/EIS PlayFund, the children can grab the opportunity to play some games.

Host of the event is Harvey Elliot, who has just completed a four-year term as chair of the BAFTA Games Committee. He was previously CEO of a leading games-tools business, Marmalade Technologies, and Vice President & General Manager at Electronic Arts.

Elliot, who is Head of Origination for PlayFund and CEO of game publisher PlayStack, said: “The games market is the fastest growing sector of the entertainment industry. Over two billion people play games, driven largely by the proliferation of smartphones. This makes investment in the market, through the right product, compelling. Join us to find out more about this exciting opportunity.”

BAFTA is on 195 Piccadilly, W1J 9LN.
