Nicola Parish to leave The Pensions Regulator

Nicola Parish, Executive Director of Frontline Regulation, will be leaving The Pensions Regulator (TPR) next month.

Mel Charles, the current Director of Automatic Enrolment, will become Interim Executive Director of Frontline Regulation until TPR launches recruitment for another Board-level executive in due course.

Ms Parish, who has been at the regulator for 16 years, brought in the first supervision and enforcement teams at TPR. She also implemented the first authorisation and supervision function for master trusts as well as authorising or assessing new models of pension provision in the first authorised collective defined contribution pension scheme and the first defined benefit superfund.

Nausicaa Delfas, Chief Executive of TPR, said: “On behalf of TPR, I would like to thank Nicola for all her contributions which have helped protect millions of savers’ pensions and wish her every success in the future.”

Nicola Parish said: “It has been a privilege to work at TPR to protect savers. I have loved every minute and everything I have done has been because of the professional, intelligent and driven people I have worked with.”
