Protection Guru secured the ‘Disrupter of the Year’ award at the Europe Tech Awards held this month for their Protection Guru Pro value based life insurance research service designed to enable advisers to address the key changes in how protection advice is delivered in line with Consumer Duty.
In winning the award as the leading disrupter across all areas of European Fintech beating an outstanding shortlist including Timeline, Aventure, Napier AI and PayTic.
This builds on Protection Guru’s win as ‘InsureTech of the Year’ at the same awards last year and is testimony of the strides Protection Guru is making in leading industry disruption and innovation across Europe.
The win recognises Protection Guru’s contribution to the industry by substantially disrupting the life insurance market by providing tools which enable advisers to recommend better consumer outcomes, whilst at the same time substantially tipping the balance of policy sales from cheap contracts to better value ones.
Protection Guru “Pro” is the only UK life insurance comparison service that provides a value lead comprehensive assessment of quality and price covering all the leading types of life insurance i.e. level term, mortgage protection, income protection, and critical illness, meaning advisers can act in line with the FCA’s new Consumer Duty requirements.
