Keiro-Watson recruited to help listing on NASDAQ 1st North

Fashion on Screen (FOS), a new EIS-approved British film funding company which recently signed a film option in Will, the novel based on the life of Shakespeare by Scottish writer Christopher Rush, has appointed Simon Kiero-Watson to its Board.

Will was the company’s first option signing.

Kiero-Watson has been recruited to help with the company planned listing on NASDAQ 1st North, the European arm of America’s NASDAQ.

Kiero-Watson is currently a corporate adviser with IPO Capital and oversaw the development of Danish junior stock market GXG in the UK.

FOS Managing Director Tobias Steed said: “Simon’s addition to our management team is a great coup. His involvement with FOS has already shown dividends.

“Simon established the first Approved EIS Fund to be offered to the public in the UK and subsequently as Head of Markets at GXG Markets he was responsible for establishing the business strategy of delivering a pan-European exchange for growth companies. We could not wish for a more qualified individual to assist FOS in its journey from being a privately held to a publicly traded company.”

Will was first published in the UK and America in 2007 and SBK Productions – the film production company owned by Sir Ben Kingsley – took out an original film option on the novel in 2008. However, the film did not reach production stage.
