Welcome to the ‘Enterprise Investment Scheme Report 2023’, the second in our series of focused reports on the tax efficient sector. The series will cover SEIS, EIS, VCTs and BR/IHT in four parts over the next few weeks and will be combined into our annual Tax Efficient Investment Report 2023 in February.
EIS and SEIS schemes have remained in place over several Government cycles now as a tax-efficient means of enabling start-ups and small businesses to raise the capital and follow-on funding they need in order for them to grow. By creating a detailed guide to the Enterprise Investment Scheme advisers can set the opportunities in the context of all that is available. We have also provided some useful statistics and references to source material, interesting analysis along with a glossary of terms and jargon.
