Ziad Chami joins Glamis as new head of Risk

Glamis has today announced that Ziad Chami has joined their team as the new head of Risk.

Ziad spent 12 years in the City of London, split between the London office of the New York Stock Exchange, the global investment exchange ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) and in addition, two investment trading firms Sun Trading and Hudson River Trading where he was their European Head of Risk.

His experience covered Equities (Shares), Commodities, Bonds and Derivatives. His work included analysis of financial risk, investment trading strategies and quantitative (statistical) investing. He also has significant experience dealing with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Central Bank of Ireland.

Ziad has an undergraduate degree in Theoretical Physics from University of Exeter and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of York.
