Santander UK announces further reductions to mortgage rates, with purchase rates now starting from 3.68%

Santander UK has today made reductions of up to 0.29% to selected fixed rates across its purchase, remortgage, green mortgage, and buy-to-let ranges, with rates now starting from 3.68%.

Examples of residential remortgage rates that have been reduced include: 

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate residential remortgage with £999 product fee is now priced at 3.99%, down from 4.20%. 
  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate residential remortgage with no product fee is now priced at 4.29%, down from 4.58%. 
  • 60% LTV three-year fixed rate residential remortgage with £999 product fee is now priced at 3.99%, down from 4.24%. 
  • 75% LTV five-year fixed rate residential remortgage with no product fee is now priced at 4.16%, down from 4.31%. 

Examples of residential purchase rates that have been reduced include: 

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with £999 purchase fee is now priced at 3.84%, down from 3.99%. 
  • 60% LTV five-year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with £999 purchase fee is now priced at 3.68%, down from 3.80%. 
  • 95% LTV five-year fixed rate residential purchase mortgage with no purchase fee and a £250 cashback is now priced at 5.09%, down from 5.14%. 

Examples of new build rates that have been reduced include: 

 
 
  • 75% LTV 3-year fixed rate new build exclusive purchase with a £999 purchase fee is now priced at 3.99%, down from 4.14%. 
  • 95% LTV 3-year fixed rate new build exclusive purchase with no purchase fee and a £250 cashback is now priced at 5.58%, down from 5.63%. 

Examples of green mortgage rates that have been reduced include: 

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate green remortgage with no product fee is now priced at 4.19%, down from 4.48%. 
  • 75% LTV five-year fixed rate green buy-to-let remortgage with a £1749 product fee is now priced at 3.98%, down from 4.12%. 

Examples of buy-to-let rates that have been reduced include: 

  • 60% LTV two-year fixed rate buy-to-let remortgage with a £1749 product fee is now priced at 4.26%, down from 4.38%. 
  • 60% LTV five-year fixed rate buy-to-let mortgage with a £1749 purchase fee is now priced at 3.97%, down from 4.14%.
