Brown Shipley supports Yorkshire entrepreneurs

Brown Shipley has entered into a three year partnership deal with Connect Yorkshire, a not-for-profit organisation supporting businesses in the region.

Connect Yorkshire works with leading professionals to help entrepreneurs develop their proposition for greater success, nurture emerging talent and support growth through their sector specific expertise.

The new deal is an extension of Brown Shipley’s existing partnership with the South Yorkshire region and will see the business provide mentoring to local businesses across Yorkshire for the next three years.

Brown Shipley will be the sole wealth manager in the region to support members.

Head of Brown Shipley’s Leeds Office Andrew Goodchild said: “We are pleased to announce that we are extending our partnership with Connect Yorkshire for the next three years.

“Supporting local entrepreneurs is a key priority for the business and our advisers are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and expertise to help promote further growth and success in this dynamic region.”

Chief Executive Officer of Connect Yorkshire Nick Butler said: “Connect Yorkshire are very pleased to welcome Brown Shipley as their Wealth Management Partner for both the West and North Yorkshire Group and the South Yorkshire Group. Brown Shipley started as a Partner last year with the South Yorkshire Group and it is great that they have now extended to both Groups.

“In addition they have agreed to be a Partner for 3 years which will run during the period that Connect Yorkshire will both increase the number of members and the number of Entrepreneurs in Residence.”

Phil Harris, Client Director in Brown Shipley’s Leeds office, will be responsible for leading the partnership with Connect Yorkshire.
