Walker Crips has boosted its investment division with the appointment of Bill Newton and Andrew Powell as stockbrokers.

The pair come from Barclays Advisory Stockbroking and follows the recent appointment of two other stockbrokers from Barclays.

Walker Crips Chief Executive Rodney FitzGerald said: “This is an exciting time for Walker Crips as we celebrate our Centenary year. Bill and Andrew are two experienced individuals and will enhance the service provided to clients.

“Bill and Andrew join an increasing number of other investment managers and stockbrokers we have recruited over the past year as we continue to expand and diversify our advisory managed investment capability in direct response to increasing demand from clients.

“We look forward to working with them both to continue to grow Walker Crips’ reputation as one of the UK’s leading firms of bespoke Investment and Wealth Managers.”

Walker Crips is a fully listed UK public company specialising in Investment Management, Wealth Management, Stockbroking and Structured Investments and is one of the City of London’s oldest independent companies.
