Liontrust appoints Kristian Cook as Head of UK Distribution

Liontrust has appointed Kristian Cook as Head of UK Distribution. Under Kristian Cook’s leadership, the UK single strategy and Multi-Asset sales teams are being brought into one team to further enhance the strong levels of client service at Liontrust.

Kristian Cook, who will report to Ian Chimes, Head of Global Distribution, joined Liontrust in March 2018 as Single Strategy Sales Manager in London. Prior to joining Liontrust, Kristian was at Franklin Templeton and JP Morgan Asset Management.

The new UK sales structure will provide greater focus and clarity of responsibilities and will broaden the product range for each salesperson. The team will promote both single strategy funds and solutions, with the latter including Sustainable Managed funds, Multi-Asset funds and portfolios, depending on the individual requirements of clients.

The intermediary market in the UK has gone through significant consolidation over the past few years and this is expected to accelerate. The new structure will enable Liontrust’s UK Sales team to focus resources on where they are most required and be able to meet the specific requirements of all distributors, whatever their size, reach, complexity and whether they are discretionary or advisory.
