Nottingham Building Society has today announced the appointment of Lisa Winnard as Chief People Officer on the Executive Committee. The appointment recognises Lisa’s significant contribution to the business since joining in 2023, most recently in the role of HR Director.
With over two decades of experience, Lisa brings a wealth of expertise from previous roles at JLA Group and Sesame Bankhall Group. Known for her strategic focus and people-centred approach, she has a proven record of driving sustainable success through her transformation expertise and commitment to trusted relationships.
Her accomplishments have been recognised with several prestigious awards, including The Financial Times ‘Champion for Gender Diversity’ in 2019 and ‘HR Director of the Year’ at the 2013 HR Directors Distinction Awards.
Since joining Nottingham Building Society, Lisa has advanced the People and Development team, promoting an environment where team members feel valued and encouraged to reach their potential. Her position on the Executive Committee strengthens Nottingham Building Society’s commitment to a supportive, inclusive workplace where team members feel valued.
